Re: Anyway to get Bluetooth in VirtualBox?

I believe by default audio is enabled and will output to your default audio device. Check your VM settings to make sure. The more likely issue is that the audio in your ReactOS install isn't working since that had been an ongoing issue. The wiki is a bit out of date, but check it out for some hints:...

Re: Steam and other game launchers

ReactOS is more likely to work better if your interest in games is more retro. 3d can still be difficult to get working properly and drivers for modern GPUs probably won't work. I know someone has gotten an older version of Steam to work, but I haven't heard anything about Origin. As is almost alway...

Re: how do i make a reactos application from scratch

Are you intending that the software gets built along with ROS in the Build Environment? Or are you just looking to bundle some pre-built software with it?

lol, they do though. Open source projects can and do push changes upstream and ReactOS uses a large chunk of WINE code. WINE is better today thanks to the work that ReactOS devs have put in.

Re: Two decades later...what's the point?

You seem to be under the assumption that ReactOS has called itself a viable alternative in it's present form. From the very top of the front page of the website: Imagine running your favorite Windows applications and drivers in an open-source environment you can trust. That's the mission of ReactOS!...

It's been brought to the point of being bootable, but only just. It isn't officially available to the public as an ISO yet, but you can build your own if you really want to test with it.

This statement alone makes it clear that you have no idea what you're talking about. What does Wine have to do with mouse support? Nothing.

Since I'm too lazy to log into GitHub, I'll make the comment here - your SizeBytes is too small.
OLD VALUE: SizeBytes = 4206592
NEW VALUE: SizeBytes = 3684
I assume that the new version is larger than 3.6 kB...

Re: Reactos Enterprise/Education Edition

None of these are currently implemented. In the future the only one that is likely to come to pass would be Group Policy (since it's a Windows feature).

The instructions oldman linked are for when you're building ReactOS yourself from source. I've never had luck attempting to edit a pre-made ISO, but I've heard that it's possible with certain tools.

Re: What would happen to the ReactOS project if Microsoft decided to make Windows open source, and will it ever happen?

Like I said. Open source more or less. Open-source software is a type of computer software in which source code is released under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to use, study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose. Windows Embedded Compac...
