how friendly is reactos 32 bit code for 64 bit use (personaly if i was the project main devlopers id adbandon the 32 bit version completly and aim for compatbilty with 64 bit windows drivers and apps) does anyone else think making reactos in 32 bit code is kinda pointless targeting previoues version...

reactos is to unstable but if all goes as planed all apps that work on windows should work on reactos without need to modify them


however at this point i suspect it may be 5 years before its usable enough to relly replace windows xp

it be kinda be funny if it relly did merge on that revision regardless trunk is pretty stable and i think we are ready for it and i think merging would probably be a pain but would simplify things

i dont know the current plans but i think it should go ahead and merge with trunk sense its mostly stable and stuff

but realisticly i think once the reactos kernal can compile itself is when your start seeing devlopment accelerate rapidly

running reactos on real hardware not exactly easy to do heck just running it in vitrualbox is buggy all things considered

use torrent being as its a samll file im sure it wont take much bandwith to send to everyone

in my case i have a faster upload speed then the download sped from 4shared (around 20 percent faster)

its getting more stable then trunk when will it merge/replace trunk
