Not to sound synical, but i wans't sure if there would be enough supporters (with spare cash!) to be able to raise the money, glad there is tho, I'd like to say i was one of the ones who donated but i'm ashamed to say i can't afford to, if i win the lot...

Couldn't agree more with Karl, i've been wanting to post something about vista for ages with everyone bashing it, I've been using the beta for quite a while and i have to say its fantastic! ok, it does use a lot of resources, but at the end of the day i bet all the people complain about the resource...

personally I still think reactos can benifit windows, ms may not sell the windows, but the people who use reactos can still buy ms software, games, mouse mats etc... to me I can't see why ms would be threaten my microsoft, yes, it means people can get a windows compatable os for free, but at the end...

ati drivers, and wireless are on my christmas list for reactos, If i could use it to go on the internet, that would make me a happy bunny!

well i'm not sure if anyones heard of this but i've found this useful inthe past when needing to get windows drivers from an installed windows http://boozet.xepher.net/dd/index.htm lets you select the drivers you need and save them :) sorry if i'm not supposed to post the link! just thought it was u...

well i've downloaded both 32bit and 64bit versions of the beta 2 i've tried it on several machines, including a 2ghz laptop with intel 845g chipset, vista run fine on it, however couldn't ues the glass interface, which is the main thing that makes me like vista, once you use it, normal xp seems bori...

whats new in this release, well i mean is there anything really noticable from a user point of view? as the changelog isn't up yet, just wondering if theres any huge leaps with drivers?

personally i think its good they have strict requirements, even today u can buy a 3ghz machine from a shop and its rubbish because they use cheap nasty motherboads and only put in 256mb of memory, i'm on my last day in an electrical resaler, our best pc comes with a ati x600 graphics card pentium d ...

is it possible to edit a live iso to add your own drivers, to test to see if they work, and not braking the boot info on the iso?

or does reactos need to be restarted to load a different driver anyway? making it a pointless idea?

just wondering (thinking of original half life) would the glide drivers for the voodoo cards work? as i remember the dll's would let u use the card in nt fine, and 2000, and xp and if i remembe correctly you didn't even have to install the drivers, just copy the glide dll's into the application fold...

if its any benifit, i love the search on it, i didn't even know a search feature like that was possible on a webpage!
