This is rellly starting to irritate me now. Read messages do not seem to be recorded properly. What I do is every hour or so load up the forum, click "View posts since last visit" and then open each of the apparently new posts in a new tab... But 9 times out of 10 the posts I read arn't ma...

SATA cannot conncet nativly over IDE, and when it does, it appears as an IDE drive.

Therefore it connects through IDE and will be compatable.

Even so, it makes no mention of SATA anyway

There should be no problem as that flash drive emulates the IDE interface, so to reactos it would appear just as a normal drive.

Plus reactos will support the windows ntfs driver which you can use if you have a version of windows.

I know this negates the whole point in reactos but its a good stop gap as until reactos is usable most people will also have a copy of a windows

Just to ask a question. Why do reactos icons need to be compatable with windows? I understand that reactos needs to be able to support .ico files, but I see no reason why it cannot support MORE formats than windows... You have to convert other image formats (jpg, gif, svg, png) to ico on windows if ...

on how to boot reactos from grub. Similar instructions can be found for windows.

There is a windows version of grub also. This way will give you a menu, but may be hard to set up for a first time user

It's a known cache issue.

It should sort itself out in time. Try ctrl-f5 to see if that works. If not, just wait :)
