I think it's a bug, and that it's been reported before, any help you can give about it should be directed to the bug report. (CORE-3269)

This stuff is TOTALLY off-topic in this thread:

Webunny, these conversations don't belong in every thread on the forum. I'd like to request (since you keep bringing it up) that you make a new thread for this and when you want to say something about it, do it in that one. As far as why you shouldn't be doing what you're doing: it's because the way...

Re: The Best Archiver(s) of All Time !!!!! ;)

I always had problems when I tried using WinRAR, I think its UI looks very cluttered, I dislike that it (by default) replaces almost all archive files' icons with it's own (icons should represent the file, not a program that thinks it should be the one to open it), and people often tell people it's ...

Re: React OS 0.3.16 < 3.015

Hello, and welcome to the forums. Please note that all testing should be done with trunk builds as "Release"s are out of sync with current development. Also ext* fs support is currently broken and subsequently has been (temporarily) disabled in recent trunk builds so as not to cause excess...

Re: P6T Deluxe Driver install

JIRA is our main hearth. It is not the tool for bugreports, but also the place to send contributions, when you have time or you want to help in the future. From Translations, to Apitests to Code fixes are reviewed, re-reviewed, and commited from JIRA. I figured Translations and code fixes were cove...

Re: PC ROS Rigs - Real Hardware Testing (rig) - WIKI

Also perhaps the "Working Builds" entry should be renamed to ... say, "Revisions Tested (works/fails)" (or similar) this way people won't assume that only builds that are working should be entered.

Re: P6T Deluxe Driver install

Wow webunny, you really take things in subjective context. The point of (that portion of) my post wasn't to side with anyone, or to get this thread off-topic, but to make a small aside to you that your choice of words was the main issue in the other thread. ("won't let you get close to the cod...

P6T Deluxe Driver install ( / Re: "stringent" )

Hello imk, unfortunately Windows driver support is still quite hit & miss, so I'm not very surprised when any piece of hardware doesn't work (unless it worked before, in which case ... regtesting it is), however if you can get debug logs from the affected ReactOS install (see this Wiki Page ) it...

Re: [Bug ?] Set-up issue in virtualbox under windows 7

Okay, thank you guys. Sorry for being a pest ^.^ I obviously can't speak for anyone but myself, but I really don't see how you were/are "being a pest". You experienced an issue with ReactOS, so you tried to post a bug report on the bug tracker. Good. When you ran into difficulty logging i...

Here's the accepted bug report: CORE-7013: Setup will fail to finish if during 2nd stage you open and close Regional Options / keyboard window (in other words, a .cpl is launched) And there are some marked as duplicates of it: CORE-7179: second part of the installation won't finalize when keyboard i...

Does anyone here KNOW how it works, or are we ALL just guess

Maybe I was wrong about it bypassing windows, IDK but it's certainly not all on-top of Windows. To my knowledge: Cygwin is a "translation layer" between Win32 and POSIX user-mode APIs created as a c library and distributed in a Windows style DLL file (for Cygwin compiled windows binaries o...

Not TRUE KVM / Re: WinKVM

To my knowledge a true KVM on Microsoft Windows is (currently) impossible, because support has to be built into the kernel. As far as I can tell what WinKVM does is use Cygwin to compile Linux's KVM into a standalone 'hardware' driver which gives a sort of bypass to go around Windows itself for Cygw...

Someone fixed my account‼ =) / KVM support in ReactOS?

I have to go to the front page, log out, then log in, then go back to the wiki page, refresh the page in the browser, before I am logged in. I was going to say that "Unfortunately it doesn't as I can't use the login on the front page, it tells me my username or password is wrong, won't send me...
