OK, 1 minute is really too much. For testing ReactOS, I'd recommend using a virtualization software like QEMU or VMware. Then you don't need to burn the ISO, you can test it without rebooting, you can easily get debug information, .... Of course, we also need to test it on real hardware, but if it d...

@Bond007s At the time, when you looked at the page, the Buildslave was still uploading the file. This is why the size constantly increased. Of course, we could first upload the file to a temporary directory and then move it to the "iso" directory, but I'm not sure if this is really necessa...

Live-CDs working again + Downloading ReactOS Builds easily

Hello, If you want to try out the ReactOS Trunk tree (containing the latest developments), there are two important news: Firstly, the Live-CDs built by our BuildBot are finally bootable. Due to long-standing building problems on Linux/Unix hosts, they just showed various error messages in the past. ...

When BuildBot is down, it's always the best to go to the #reactos IRC channel and inform Fireball about this problem. He can restart the Buildmaster then. When there is only a small corrupted 7Z file on the server, it's probably caused by a lost connection during the upload process. Best regards, Co...

Indeed, Aleksey was online yesterday and could restart the Buildmaster, so our BuildBot is working again. The disappearing ISOs at http://svn.reactos.org/iso are probably related to a script, which runs on that server. It deletes old ISOs from time to time, but at the moment, it does not check if ne...

I like 23, but I'd like to see the colors changed to a shade of blue to move it away from the DirectX/Xbox logo. Some logos, like no. 23, are available in many variations. You can see all variations in the logo thread, for no. 23 they are here and here . If a logo with many variations wins, we'll p...

I don't get this error either.
If you can reproduce it somehow, please file a bug report in our Bugzilla.

Best regards,

The menu will be shown in the language you set in your Wiki User Profile. Just click on "Preferences" and change the language. I also agree that the current solution is not the best, but setting up an own Wiki for every language is really too much work in my opinion. If all our pages would...

About the MediaWiki Update - Help needed!

As you might have noticed already, we updated the ReactOS Wiki to MediaWiki 1.10.0 recently. This update does not only include security fixes, we also fixed some other problems: You can now edit the preferences of your Wiki account, for example you can switch the language. Pages will be saved immedi...

Something Reactos does not have. Is something like MFC and Visual GUI development tools. As far as I know, we also don't want any additional GUI libraries, since they can never have all the functions of the native Win32 GUI libraries. As hto already said, for newbies it is currently the best to ask...

FTP access would be no problem for me. My hoster allows me to create other FTP accesses, which point to a certain directory, so you can only upload files to this directory and don't see other files. Speed should be also no problem. I have a DSL 6000 connection and can upload at full speed. The only ...

I could give you FTP access to a part of my webspace at http://reactos.colinfinck.de.
My webspace has no file size limit, but I only have around 100 MB free space.

Just send me a mail or a PM if you're interested.

Best Regards,
