They seem to have Windows repository converted into a git repository. If they really have that many files as said in the blog post, ReactOS team will never be able to finish reverse-engineering.

Far less than that is needed for a slim very compatible Windows system. Of course quite some stuff is still missing. But not that much
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.
