ReactOS on commercial computers

Post by MugenFighter »

I was thinking, some of the cheaper laptops and computers come with either FreeDOS or Linux due to them not having to pay a licensing fee to install it. Does anyone think that once version 1.0 comes out that ReactOS might have a similar use?

I don't see why not. Similar goes for older hardware.

Will it's official, ReactOS is Windows without the cost or something... Not sure where I was going now.

ReactOS is a reimplementation of Windows but is not Windows.
-uses Ubuntu+GNOME 3 GNU/Linux
-likes Free (as in freedom) and Open Source Detergents
-favors open source of Windows 10 under GPL2

I think I was trying to get at that it will be just as good as Windows, if not better, but doesn't have the cost.
