Some details of my ReactOS setup. Had this PC since around 2001.
- Dell Dimension 4500
- Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.4 GHz
- 1 GB ram
- Nvidia Geforce4 MX 420, 64 MB
- WD 40 GB HD
Was Windows XP Professional and used primarily for Microsoft Visual Basic 6 Professional.
Do have a much newer PC, strictly runs Bodhi Linux 5, 64 bit, 16 GB ram...

Now for my question: how do you add a signature, did not see anything related to the signature. Like to add specs and be able to add updates to it.

- If you're signed into the forum, look for your username in the upper-right part of the page beneath the search.
- Click on your username, then "User Control Panel".
- Click the "Profile" tab, and locate "Edit Signature".

Probably, Mr.Reimer has disabled signatures for newbies due to mass spam waves observed.

Not on topic, but... yes, new registered ppl have approval and sig disabled. If they already have a account on ice for a few weeks, then they still have one. And nope, wasn't me ^^
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Reasons for everything, good or bad, intentional or not.
Anywho, my old computer is dedicated to ReactOS. Having fun with BSOD'ing and locking up, luckily it takes roughly 5 minutes to re-install.

Re: My ReactOS setup and a question
ReactOS is in development currently it's normal to have crashes and BSoDs.
You can try to install the drivers of XP to reduce it but not all components of Windows are implemented yet and some drivers just can't work in ReactOS.

Re: My ReactOS setup and a question
Yep, knew that before trying ReactOS. Tried the nvidia driver that I used prior, BSODed. The one that showed in the "Applications Manager - Drivers" didn't work either, no errors, just rendered resolution unuseable and couldn't change anything.shunesburg wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:41 pm ReactOS is in development currently it's normal to have crashes and BSoDs.

Current setup, simple fresh ReactOS install.
