Shouldn't FreeLoader's name be changed to something like OpenLoader? I understand that it may be a simple oversight or embedded developer joke but come on: FreeLoader implies that ReactOS is for lazy people.

Don't know what the original developer intended when he named it, but I don't think that reason by itself would warrant a name change.

On the other hand, the people who don't know about Open-Source may say it's "Free" as in "No Cost."

*shrug*

Let's call it 'FreeLoafer' then. :)

That stems from the definition of freeload.

being the boot loader, if people know its name they will probably already know enough about the rest anyway. besides, an OS suitable for lazy people would be a good thing wouldn't it (ie. easy to use?)?

If ReactOS weren't suitable for lazy people, I'd have to stop using it...
