I'm running the recent builds in Hyper-V on Windows 8.1, and also not able to install network drivers (extracted from integration services disk).
The actual integrtation services MSI will install, but when rebooting, receive error "Can't load boot driver 'System32\drivers\vmbus.sys'".

Could you identify the network card model?

Hyper-V has 2 options, the Legacy network adapter identifies as "Intel 21140-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (Emulated)". The standard network adapter identifies simply as "Microsoft Virtual Machine Bus Network Adapter".

The driver I used was for the Intel 21140 Ethernet card.

Here you can get vicmarcal's animated picture: http://reactos.files.wordpress.com/2009 ... slator.gif

Perhaps someone knows whether we have a "Media Section" with such (animated) gifs & banners?

They were made by a community member that various people then adopted. I don't think we ever saved a copy internally.

I got the video driver working. I included the Windows 2000 and NT driver. The NT driver is from 2007 while the 2000 driver is from 2005. Both drivers work on Windows XP.

At 0.3.17 I'm still unable to get the drivers working on Virtual PC (2011) on my Win 7 machine. I need to study this some more.
