ReactOS is now usable in Virtual PC 2007! (It always worked but the mouse was jumpy and hard to move)

I installed the daily build version 64037 and I noticed the mouse was no longer acting up. I made a video of it working. I am still working on getting audio to work.

For some reason the audio device is not showing up in Device Manger. I think Guest Additions have to be installed for it to work.

I loaded 64034-dbg into the latest MS Virtual PC running in Windows 7. It got as far as the Gecko installer and just hung there waiting for the download. It's as if it does not like the networking or something. If you have any pointers for setting up the Virtual PC, I'd appreciate knowing what to do. Microsoft's documentation on this product is sparse in the extreme.

Click cancel on the Gecko installer. The network drivers are not installed yet. I am currently uploading the drivers.

Go here and download this zip: http://download.cnet.com/int_v505-zip/3 ... 04146.html

Extract the files and go to NT50 folder and put those on a virtual floppy drive and mount it after installing ReactOS. On first boot, the network driver install box should come up and point it to the floppy drive (A:\ usally). It then should install and work. I will post a copy of my virtual floppy disk tomorrow of the drivers. Contact me with any problems. I probably will make a video of installing ReactOS in Virtual PC sometime soon.

Zip file folder tree:
int_v505.zip
i386
WNT50
NDIS50
Extract all these files

It's working to the point that I can play solitaire, etc. What I don't have is networking. I can't activate the MSVPC Integration Features or access any files directly on file system. I bundled up the NP50 driver files in an ISO using Nero and attached the ISO as a virtual DVD, however I can't update the drivers in ReactOS. I click the "Update Driver" button and nothing happens.

I'm a total Newb wrt MS Virtual PC. So sorry if I'm a bit dense. Right now I'm installing Win XP in a VPC just to see how it plays. I instantly got access to the Software archive on my network. Things are fairly transparent installing XP.

One thing is that I'm using the current (2011) version of Virtual PC, not the 2007 version. Is there a big difference?
