Justincase. Err, nope. It was done two months ago in Kiel. Anyway, still too old. Build the branch yourself, it's no magic to do that. ^^

If that's the case then it's a build that wasn't announced here, and isn't hosted on SourceForge (I checked both pretty thoroughly). I thought it was strange that there was no specific build for LT 2014 anywhere.
Still, the most recent LT build that's available for download in one of the normal places is the one from LT 2013, and even if you could download the LT 2014 build you'd be better off building the shell-experiments branch yourself (or using mine if you can't/won't)

Also (back on topic) I've just noticed that 0.3.17's Task Manager has "Log Off %s" in the "Shut Down" menu. :(

I don't remember how long ago I actually downloaded and tested a ReactOS ISO but I couldn't even get it to run. Now 0.3.17 has installed with no issue on Windows Virtual PC on Windows 7. Superb work, guys. :D

Pi_User5, the release EmuandCo is refering to was made in may 2013 (see the paragraph starting with "In addition to the packages traditionally provided", here) so you've already been testing with newer versions than it. At this point the only reason I can see for downloading it is to get a glimpse of the hybrid bootcd/livecd that was used.
All I waned to see was the hybrid CD. I started compiling the shell-experiment builds a few weeks ago.

The latest version. 4.3.12 r93733. Tried default settings and also changing many, but still doesn't work, gets a black screen before showing language selection.

Latest version released is 4.3.18. Are you on Linux?

@Oddjob64

If your virtual machine has a serial port, you may try to disable it and see if it works afterwards.

Nope, Windows. Attempting to update from VirtualBox returns an unknown error. Going to manually uninstall it and install the current version.

I know I haven't been around for some time and I do tend to visit the ReactOS website every now and then, and I'm just crying with joy! What a long way since the first time I got to know ROS (Version 0.3.9) until today! Congrats you guys! You're doing one heck of a job!!! :D

Congratulations on the release! It is nice of you that despite having to work on all those new things like the Explorer, you ARE "thinking of your audience". As everyone else, I am also thirsty for the 0.4.0 (will that be the Beta stage?)...

Updating VirtualBox resulted in all virtual machines (new or existing) failing to open with an error "Unable to load R3 module", apparently due to this: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/13504 ... num_hist=1

You are #6 on Distrowatch.com for the last seven days. ;) Not bad!

You are already a lot more visible than many other projects.
