Has anyone found an SSH server that works on ReactOS?
The Comparison of SSH servers Wikipedia page lists a bunch of potentials that I'm about to start searching through for a possible solution. But I'm just checking to see if someone has already been down this road.
Cygwin would be the natural solution, but it refuses to install on ReactOS. That's a shame.

Give it a while, they will all install eventually.
ReactOS is in Alpha and not usable except for testing purposes.

Re: Is there any SSH server?
I'm quite impressed with the progress ReactOS has made even in it's alpha stage. When I tried it a few years ago it crashed easily and often but 0.4.3 hasn't crashed yet. I'm only playing with it. I've added it to my menagerie of OSes in virtual machines.dizt3mp3r wrote:Give it a while, they will all install eventually.

This problem isn't unique to ReactOS. Some years ago I was trying to get away from my extreme dependence on Cygwin so I searched for a non-Cygwin SSH daemon for Windows. I don't remember what I tried but I was unimpressed so I stuck with Cygwin. But it would be nice to have a native Windows SSH server that would also run on ReactOS.

Glad it hasn't crashed.

Re: Is there any SSH server?
No, there is no SSH-server that I would know of. I was busy researching that in-depth, actually.
Long story short:
Some servers get you so far that you can "log in", BUT... you are NOT getting a shell.
FreeSSHd & Kpym looked most promising, but did not work, last time I checked.
What works:
A variant of netcat. - Obviously, that is not encrypted, etc., but if "sending commands from a remote location" is all that was wanted - then this may be indeed sufficient.
