Cannot login in JIRA

I tried to login into JIRA in order to report a bug.
Login fails alwasy

Do I need a second JIRA user account?

Just give it a day or so for your password to propagate to Jira. You should be able to use your regular site login and password.

Hi,

After three times requesting a reset of password I could login now.

The registration process for new users needs to be improved.
Especially there should be some comments added at the end of the registration
whether any further actions are necessary or not, whether a confirmation email is send or not, etc.

Put your suggestions into a Jira issue and at the Project input box, change to ReactOS Online Service, because a lot of people report in the Forum that they cannot log into Jira. Having just created an account, they expect to be able to log into Jira and make a bug report and they find that they cannot do it, just as you have found.

The database of usernames and passwords that JIRA uses is synchronized regularly with the one the rest of the site uses, so changing it via JIRA itself would be pointless as it would get changed back to whatever is in the main db by the next synchronization, thus the option is disabled. Instead you should just use the same username and password that you used to log in and post to this forum, and if it doesn't work, wait a day and try it again. If it still doesn't work, try going to the the homepage (ReactOS.org) and using the links available from that page to go to your profile and change your password, then wait about a day, and try logging in to JIRA with your new password.
