Burning CD's

Post by tungdo »

I have been able to install two cd/dvd burning programmes (http://infrarecorder.org/ - http://www.deepburner.com/?r=download) that seem to work (they display on the desktop), but both fail to burn, because they report that they cannot find a cd/dvd drive. I was hoping to be able to burn a new image with ReactOS and then to install it.
I have a similar problem with Netbeans, I can install java jdk, but Netbeans reports that it cannot find a jdk.
Is this a missing feature or a bug, it would have been nice to have reported that you can now burn CD's and even that Netbeans works.
Would debug info be of any help?

I am quite sure that SPTI is not available in ROS yet (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCSI_Pass ... _Interface)

Maybe installing the old ASPI drivers would help you here, but I never tried that.

Or that one:

No clue about the JDK problem though
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.
