Hi to everyone!

Post by vanbang2cdduoc »

As this is my first post on this forum i would like to say a few things:
• I have always supported the reactos project, right from when i downloaded it for the first time at version 0.2.0
• I am having troubles with my video card under ros, it only has 16 colors in ros. it is a intel 82810E onboard
• I can help the project by writing documentaion and to a lesser extent, graphics. I also download and test from time to time.
• I also would like to wish all the developers the best of luck.
• Also i like this new forum better

Hi, nice to have you here.

I would try installing the graphics drivers if you can. If it won't let you, then you might want to look and see if you can find your problem in Jira. If so, then you might want to add something to the comments section there if you feel it is pertinent or gives clues as to why the problem exists. If not, then you can report it there.

It would be nice to create ticket in JIRA regarding this problem. ;)

I searched the ReactOS forum using the search string "82810". All the results returned that weren't part of this topic were from a 2004 topic named "Hi to everyone". The first post in that topic appears to be a word-for-word copy of this topic's first post.

There was recently another post that followed a similar pattern. Could this be some new spammer tactic to generate a convincing user account?

And yes, I think I found an unrelated but similar attempt. In that thread, a new poster gave a Wikipedia definition for Operating System. I'm not sure why one would do that unless it is to gain credibility as a forum participant to possibly spam later.

I keep an eye on that one... Rest of that night is already banned.

EDIT: and a few more banned after post editing to spam...
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...
