Hi,
Does ROS manage virtual storage and handle page faults? Can virtual storage be turned on / off, can page file size be user adjusted? If virtual storage is supported does the file manager prioritize page fault reads? Is working storage user definable (desired ratio of virtual storage consumed within real storage). Does each application instance have it's own 32 bit virtual storage or is all virtual storage shared? How do device drivers manage input / output requests to and from virtual storage. are pages locked by drivers and is real storage mapped to virtual storage during an input / output operation, are boundaries checked by the driver or other mechanism to assure no access other than to user storage? Thanks for any insight.
