JDesktop

Post by Yann64 »

Anybody tried to use JDesktop? This looks as the only Java Desktop project not being dead... Still needs some more development, but works well. And I think it's GPL.
I will have to try it as soon as JRE is functionnal under ROS.

Since the 0.2.5 release is out, did anybody try to install the jre or jsdk? Maybe one of the earlier Java releases wil run... :?

Just tried a simple AWT sample which did run in May 2003 on JRE 1.4.1. Unfortunately, it doesn't run now. Just hangs.

I tried to install the jre version from 1.5 down to 1.2.2 on ReactOS 0.2.5 but none of them completed the progress. Maybe an already installed version on an other windows would run.
