Can ReactOS install Internet Explorer 6?

I want to try to install IE6 on ReactOS, but I didn't find a suitable method. So I want to know if ReactOS can install IE6.

What methods for installing Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) on ReactOS did you find? Which did you try and what were the results? Be sure to comply with Microsoft's license for your copy of IE6.
He does not need to answer that. ReactOS is for running applications that people want or need to run on it. IE6 is a well-known piece of software required for many reasons that we don't have to go into here - everyone has their own reasons for running any software or even ReactOS itself.
Yes you´re right. Sorry.dizt3mp3r wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 12:37 am ReactOS is for running applications that people want or need to run on it. I have many pieces of obsolete software that I simply wish to run on ReactOS, there may well be many valid alternatives but that isn't the point. We may want to run anything we like.
Just install IE 6 for fun.Quim wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 12:22 am For what purpose is Internet Explorer 6 needed? Just testing curiosity or there still are a lot of webpages IE-only?
Could Internet Explorer 7 or 8 be a better choice than IE 6? And ROS own Internet Explorer?
It seems that in WINE is a bit problematic, but it seems to work: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... on&iId=469
Here for someone else that wants to tests it (and don´t know where to get it):
https://archive.org/details/IE6SP1

Yo also have Internet Explorer Collection:

I will try IE Collection, thanks!Quim wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 12:22 am For what purpose is Internet Explorer 6 needed? Just testing curiosity or there still are a lot of webpages IE-only?

Where are Internet Explorer version settings on registry exactly? I found and changed all that I found, but nothing happen to install IE 6 successfully.karlexceed wrote: ↑Wed Dec 26, 2018 6:11 pm I found that ROS ships with registry keys indicating it has IE8 installed. Older IE installers will notice this and not want to continue.
If you change the keys, the installers will continue, but in my testing, no version of IE 6 was able to install successfully.
That program doesn't seem to be compatible with ReactOS, I am still looking for a reason.
