Excellent news! :D
Thanks to vgal and other devs.

But full USB 2.x support in ROS is not full complete and working, how much is still left?

What is different in USB 3.x specifications?

Will this allow us to write the .iso from the nightly builds onto a usb stick for installation?

I think yes. Writting ROS iso onto USB using Rufus under Windows and booting it successfully with USB devices connected .... and (when all problems will be fixed), writing ReactOS iso under ReactOS using Rufus 2.18.

Not yet. Only Ram boot will work.

What is still missing in order to have full USB 2.x working in ROS?

Just take a look at pending PR's

https://github.com/reactos/reactos/pull/1569
https://github.com/reactos/reactos/pull/308

There is even more work to do, I think, but at least this two are necessary.
More detailed information can be obtained from
Vadim Galyant, Victor Perevertkin and maybe also Thomas Faber.

And last but not least my two cents:

If you do not 100% know what is going on, please be quiet. The merge of a PR or the activation of some code does not mean that things will work from this point on by magic. False information is bad publicity. Here, in JIRA, github (the last two are no chitchat platforms BTW) and also in our Mattermost chat.
The ones who think that they are meant by these statements must think about it. Every one else can simply ignore it.

Ich habe fertig.

MOD EDIT: Be civil! Thanks

Does New USB driver will be in the 0.4.12 release?

No. Only in 0.4.13 in the future, or in a current development build.

Why wait? You can download .4.13 now and test if you want: https://www.reactos.org/getbuilds/
