Is Reactos a Communist Or Stalin Operating System??

Post by Newbie Reactos »

Just wondering.

If you think about Reactos planning to declare holywar operating system against microsoft. People would think Reactos is communist os. It is operating system that refuse accept microsoft MZ standards. Why do we need create new operating system?

Windows is great os and so as linux. What is wrong with both os?

Why is that? It would be really childish to think something like that.
ReactOS is operating system, not a party! It has nothing to do with
politics.

You are right about this. Windows and Linux both are great operating
systems. The thing is, Linux is open and Windows is closed. Why not
make open Windows compatible OS? That is what ReactOS is for!

"Why not make open Windows compatible OS? That is what ReactOS is for!" it's pretty strange concept.

I mean there's thousands different programming languages works MS. there's Linux emulator, unix emulator, apple emulator.

Reactos would act like Windows 3.1 or 95 as longhorn arrive. In windows you have windowblind and everything you need. What soo cool about reactos?

If you say wow it runs microsoft. Big Deal, Windows 3.1 can run half of MS app. linux can run wine. There's nothing special about Reactos. It's co-exist operating system with slow development. Some wanted VGA, Modem, etc. Windows is there.

I'm not trying to stop reactos developing it.

There's nothing revolutionary about reactos. ReactOs does not have a Mascot to mock linux' tux. Of course, pure simple logo which stand for windows compatible. If reactos becomes anti-windows than that's not good. Because of that, reactos would act as gay operating system. An operating system to have men to men holding hands together.
Linux is best friend of Reactos. I'll say "No way"

I think it's better that have rival attack with Linux. Now, if reactos took a step to attack windows than it's communist os party.

Dude.... You're not making any sense...

If ROS "attacks" Windows, it's a communist OS? How's that??? It might be somewhat similar to a gurilla-war, but i fail to see the similarity with communism.
And the gay-thing didn't make much sense either...

i think you are just trolling mate.

there are many reasons for making a windows compatable OS.

I want to give away computers (for free) but I can't do that with a microsoft operating system, I could with reactOS.

I think reactOS is another option for companys not wanting to play the microsoft bigger hard faster game, they could keep thier hardware, and not have to retrain the users , therefore save money.

I think that is quite revolutionary.

holywar ? gay? I think you have some personal issues you need to address.

I agree to this. When it's matured enough it could get preinstalled on pc's and the pc's would get cheaper than with MS windows.

And also, what should be bad at making a windows compatible os? I mean it's way better (much more useful) as an os compatible to nothing else than it's own drivers/apps.

And I also cannot agree to Newbie ReactOS that it's developed slowly

ReactOS is 8) (at least for me)

@Newbie Reactos:
Let me guess: You're an US-American? It's somehow funny how wide-spreaded communism phobia is in the USA. The McCarthy era must have been really evil.

There's nothing revolutionary about reactos.
It's open sourced, so IS revolutionary !
Now, if reactos took a step to attack windows than it's communist os party.
So if MS decide to release the windows code would mean the dead of ReactOS ? You're wrong.
"Why not make open Windows compatible OS? That is what ReactOS is for!" it's pretty strange concept.
No it isn't. Is proved that open is better than closed, so why MS don't open windows ?
Reactos would act like Windows 3.1 or 95 as longhorn arrive.
Wrong, 'cause it's open source.
What soo cool about reactos?
It is open source.
If you think about Reactos planning to declare holywar operating system against microsoft.
No, due to the open source community around it.
People would think Reactos is communist os.
No, is open source.
Why do we need create new operating system?
'Cause Windows is NOT open source, or... just for fun.
