Will this incorporate TCP and UDP ?
Art is planning on having basic TCP and UDP over Ethernet running for client applications (browsers, IRC clients, email clients etc.) first. When that is done 0.3 will be released. Support for server apps (Apache etc.) will be added later

Is that code being worked on?
How long would you estimate for it to be released?
Are you colaborating with the Samba project on this one?
Sorry for the endless questions, but I'm intruiged

AFAIK, nobody is working on it yet. We'd be fools to write everything ourselves, I'm sure we'll use an existing implementation as a base.

5 is an odd number and therefore a development release.
At a guess, you'll probably find the CVS is .5

No, we don't use the odd/even numbering scheme that Linux uses. I think w3seek made a typing mistake and meant 0.2.5

That's good, IMO. That was a crazzy idea to begin with.
And as someone on the old forum said a while ago, which I can't find, "I drool for the day I can something something instead something XP". I think we all know the gist of what he was saying...
