I think the best choices are ReactX (long) and ReaX (short) (...or what about RecX ?).

In my opinion, RX would be a good abbreviation for ReactX.
DirectX is already abbreviated as DX, so RX would fit quite good as an abbreviation.
As Hunkadoodledoo already said, ReactX does not contain an "O", so it could become difficult to find out that ROX is the abbreviation for ReactX.

I second the RX. You could pair with a catch phrase like RX: Your prescription for Windows 
Of course MS lawyers might object to that so you could also try: RX: Your prescription for Games

I also prefer RX.

I agree that it should be called ReactX, but I think we should be able to abbreviate it to RX or ROX, because ROX rocks!

As said before "ROX" is a popular open-source desktop-enviroment, so "RX" would be much better.

I think we need first of all a competition for the name. The name with a description and then a vote for it.
Though ReactX seems to be the favorite(though not very creative ^^).
But before having a name, we shouldn't focus on logo-competition.

A name was already chosen by GreatLord. ReactX is the official name of the ReactOS DirectX implementation.
