Great Job with the Recent Nightly Builds

Post by Isamoor »

Just wanted to drop a shout out to the devs. The .3.1 release was a little rocky, but the latest nightlies have been behaving very nicely for me.

You guys rock :)

Yes trunk is great at the moment, explorer waiting bug is gone and it's pretty stable.

I had recent builds crash on me twice, such as when I used device manager. Glad to hear that you guys are having good luck though.

Dont be surprised, this comes and goes... for example 26258 fails at first boot with PnP Manager error...:)

But in general view, trunk IS getting better.

That ReactOS enterprise boot screen is great. It reminds me of standing behind my father's business's administrator, as he repeatedly crashes Win2k3 Server.(It booted for the secondary admin perfectly...) :) . I keep getting some modules_not_loadable_yet from freeldr, but, the machine boots and is perfectly stable. (As much as ReactOS can be, no BSOD).
More ReactOS, please!

Downloaded the latest revision from SVN (26274) and it stops booting at MOUCLASS.sys (VMware Fusion).

Anyone who has the same problem?

Quick thought, dragossh. Macs use USB. USB is pretty new to ReactOS, but it is ironing out. Ask someone else that has a Mac to see if they have the same problem, seeing as Fusion (just googled it) is in beta. ReactOS is one step behind, but one step can be an awful lot. (Such as a canyon).

Actually, it was on a OSx86 :D
But now I'm back on Windows, maybe I'll try it with QEMU to see if it works.

Thanks anyway
