For those of you who do not know what jabber is, you can look it up here
I was just thinking about making a jabber MUC (Multi User Chat) for ReactOS.
For now I just created one and see if people will use it. Of course Mods in the Forum can get Mod-rights in that Chatroom too if they want to bother.
The Room is persistent and the address is ros@conference.jabber.org
What do you think about it?

MUC, however, offers some advantages over IRC.
For example you can't rejoin a channel if you were banned with simply changing the IP and your Nickname.
Your status (e. g. Away, N/A, whatever) is visible in the MUC.
Your channel permissions (Mod, Admin, Participant etc) are tied to your JID.
People can request a server log on channel join, so they know what people were talking about just now.
