Nice one .
But for my IMHO, i think that some things have to be changed (i'm critizing the "official" cover) :
- The changelog is useless here because i think it will be better on a booklet (in this meaning). I'm aware that there are not booklet. But maybe it might be something possible.
- It miss the features of ReactOS in general (not version by version)
- The screenshots are too little. What about showing the features by zooming in (example (maybe a bad one) : text about the features of the start menu and besides a picture of the start menu).
And also : are the parts outside the border printed ?

screenshoots, japp, not sharpen enough.. and that's not good but ony the desigh it's oky
all shold be 3-400 ppi and the screenshoots shold be only scaled.. and not smaller..if you see what i mean..

Re: Booklet nostalgia...
um... 32mb is realistic... these are minimum, not reccomended. Considering how little space reactos actually needs.Davy Bartoloni wrote:hi forart!, nice to see you again!

Re: Booklet nostalgia...
Right now our minimun is 64 RAM.With less Ram ReactOS doesnt run.
Re: Booklet nostalgia...
Oh... sorry... didnt realise since last time i was on this website (before i sent that message) was at version 0.3.5 - i havent looked at new specs in a whilevicmarcal wrote:Right now our minimun is 64 RAM.With less Ram ReactOS doesnt run.
Re: Booklet nostalgia...
Its even more than that, between 70-80 for a debug build.
Re: Booklet nostalgia...
I did, and due to a data crash I lost the sources to it. Baww.Davy Bartoloni wrote:but who designed old booklet?

Re: Booklet nostalgia...
iirc it's 128MB to function properly. 96 may be the bare minimum. 64 gets to third stage but barely any further..vicmarcal wrote:Right now our minimun is 64 RAM.With less Ram ReactOS doesnt run.

Re: Booklet nostalgia...
Does anybody know, if there will be comming a booklet for ROS 0.3.9, when it is out?
Also I don't know, why the ROS-Website still have not Davy's WebSite rendered-Booklet 0.38:

Btw:
I have seen, that the Pdf Image Extraction Wizard 3.1 and other tools creates good results, by extracting the integrated images in the two PDF-files at http://svn.reactos.org/media/.
Some PDF Image Extract 1.5 extracts more images. But it is very, very slow and needs a lot of memory.
And PDF Extract TIFF v2.0 is very good. Extracts very fast all images. But as trial version you can only use it 50 times.
And don't know, what's with 3-Heights™ PDF Extract Tool API und Shell. For the Demoversion it is necessary to register. And the download link will then be send by mail. So that program I haven't tried out.
