reformatted old comp, what now?

reformatted old comp, what now?

i had just reformatted my old computer and was about to reinstall winME, but then i remembered winME sucks, i stubled across this OS and dont really know if/how i can install it from DOS. do i have to setup the cd some specail way to make it install?

You should boot the PC from the CD, that should launch you into the installer.

as long as you are aware it is alpha and therfor you may find it sucks more than winME at this stage. I supose you can always reformat again if it is not useful to you though.

If you can, try it in qemu first then make up your mind, but as Mrkaras pointed out, you can always reformat again :) Installing ROS takes minutes as opposed to tens of minutes for 9x or Me
