...and almost fanatical devotion to the pope!
1. is it better to ask many q's at once, or to make a thread for each one? i asked about safe mode and something else at the same time and safe mode q never got answered.
2. safe mode - will there be one in ros?
3. from version "history" for planned versions: http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/0.4.x/0.4.0
Critical - Build ReactOS with Microsoft Visual C compiler and Platform SDK.
so i guess it's important that the reactos code be compatible / buildable with msvc etc? okay, i guess i can see that. will the effort to make it compatible with that compiler abandon the compatibility / compilability with the current... mingw, nasmw, etc? may be confused, sorry. curious.
4. running qemu from ros!
it's already possible to run ros inside qemu inside ros - it follows then, correct me if i'm wrong, that one could run win98 virtually from inside reactos - instead of just running reactos inside win98 - yeah? wouldn't that be a coup if i manage it i'll upload a pic of it

1) Probably multiple questions in one thread is best, unless the topics could be spread across different forums.
2) Yes, i would assume so. i think theres even a Safe Mode option in the F8 list.
3) No support will be dropped for compilers, rbuild can be designed to work with multiple backends. there is also a Dev-Cpp backend being worked on.
4) If qemu runs with cd rom support, i dont see why this wouldnt work.

command line compiler. As far as I know, it is a good and fast compiler and
does not rely on an ide. I am trying it and will give feedback. The debugger
is included as well and free! Anyone doing that around ?
