Updating

Post by dsl25 »

Is there an automatic update procedure or are we supposed to do this manually?

Insert a newer daily build ISO to your VM (or write it on a CD and your RH), boot from CD and enter setup, press R, then I don't remember :) There should be a setting to update ReactOS, it will copy newer system files to your existing ReactOS installation. After it finishes, remove ISO/CD and restart your virtual or real machine. That's it!

Update is non existrant, just reinstall. We will have a update feature in the future, but not yet in this state
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Isn't there an update selection in BootCD?

I dream of the day when I can update ReactOS just as in GNU/Linux (apt-get, dnf)
