I just installed ReactOS on my HP630 laptop after seeing that it can run Game Maker by YoYo Games. So after a very succesful instalation on my one and only SSD drive, it asked me to reboot, saying that the installation is complete. Well. Now, not regarding the boot option I choose, I always end up in a blank blue desktop. I can move my mouse cursor, but there is nothing except some software info at the bottom right. It is very frustrating, I tried every possible option in BIOS and stuff. (no it is not a virtual machine, it is a full blown laptop bro)
EDIT: I have 8GB RAM, can it be because ros can not make use of more than 4?

Re: Empty desktop, nothing working
NVM I just fixed it by reinstalling ReactOS the same way except I changed the ACPI (?) setting from one to another.
EDIT: I made a separate reply so random googlers can google solved problem thank me later now back to my lair

Just wondering, what ACPI has to do with desktop loading?!
