2 Programs will not run

Post by jsowden »

I am running on an xp box with the live cd loaded. When I clicked on the OpenOffice Icon, I get:
No gui screen, went the blue screen with the following text:
ReactOS has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer
STOP: 0x0000001E (0x0000005,0xFB0FB10B, 0xFA84A34C,0x00000000)
ntfs.sys Address: FB0FB10B base at FB0FA000, Datestamp 58A48D9F

The second program is a DOS program. I rant it from the command line in the DOS box. It started up
properly asking for my user and password. If they failed, it went back for more correctly,
but if I passed I got the following:
50-Runtime error (An Emerald Bay error)
Emerald Bay is a database program, I believe written by Wayne Ratliff of dBASE fame. The program
uses a modem and it might check the modem (on com1) immediately after the log in process.
The program is used to control remote burglar alarm systems.

Hope this helps

I found a message with the "Bug Tracker" link inside, with a note asking bug reports to be sent to the Bug Tracker, so I did it.
I d not see the Bug Tracker link in the form screens.

You're running this programs on LiveCD. Try installing Reactos to a virtual machine or real hardware. If any problem still occurs, please file a bug report on JIRA.
