[SOLVED] ROS 0.4.4 in Vbox 5.1.18 went well, but no audio

Good evening all , curious about this OS, I have installed in the above mentioned Virtual Box version. Everything went well, also installed Guest Additions for mouse integration and optimal screen resolution, connectivity runs , software installation works.
But no audio. Clicking on volume icon says "non audio mixer present". The host is Windows 10 32 bit with AC97 audio device. VBox audio is setted on Windows Direct Sound, controller ICH AC97. Also installed Virtualbox AC97 audio drivers selectect from the application manager (Drivers section).
3 audio drivers appear in device manager: AC97sound device, ReactOs Sound system, and Audio Mixer. First one reports a "working status", second one reports a "not enabled" status (not changeable, not updatable, it always turns back to "not enabled" even after switched to "enabled"), third one reports "working" status.
Also followed the audio driver installation step on the Wiki page. Still does not work.
Have read somewhere that this is a known bug and in many cases the audio section will magically begin to work itself after a certain number of system boot.
Hope this will work for me as well, but while waiting would like to know if someone succeeded meantime to fix this .

Welcome to Reactos community, unfortunately Reactos don't have support to audio yet.

Not true. It does, but it's.... not very stable.

Thank you for replying. I believed ROS has an audio system issue with still few chances of resolution due to lack of knowledge/development, which occours sometimes (or viceversa sound works sometimes). It did not seem to me that audio isn't supported at all.

problem must be audio mixer driver, somehow corrupted or not completely active. Now if I doubleclick on volume icon, I obtain a sound mixer items configuration with active devices checkbox for Playback, Record and Other. After checked some, when I click on Apply, an error message appears "cannot complete operation, line 148 ABANDON-RETRY-IGNORE". The point is that I found the choosen checkbox saved as I did. Then , rightclicking on the volume icon it appears sound configuration, but no hardware test can be performed (nothing happens if I click on hardware test).
A small step ahead, but still no sound.....

latest news: booted in debug mode, it works! Rebooted again in normal mode: it works!
