Hi folks!
I followed carefully oldman's layman guide to get log2lines while compiling ReactOS and it went fine. Here's how my main ReactOS directory looks like:

And the host-tools folder with the compiled ROS source:

The thing is, regardless of log2lines being in the host-folder, RosBE complains the said command can't be found. Like this:

I seriously don't know what can I do next. Is it because log2lines itself isn't in the bin folder of RosBE or what's the problem? Am I missing something?
"log2lines" can't be found but it's there!

The host-tools folder is not in your PATH. From the directory you're in in that screenshot, you would need to run "../Compiled/reactos/host-tools/log2lines".

Damm... I'm such a dumb. Thanks for the help Thomas Faber!
However, at the beginning in the shell log2lines outputs two lines like these:
The log2lines itself is not broken, is just that every time I execute the command it shows this. Is it supposed to behave like that or it's a bug?
However, at the beginning in the shell log2lines outputs two lines like these:
Code: Select all
sh: 1: svn: not found
sh: 1: svn: not found

Yeah it looks like log2lines still depends on SVN to get some information. That needs to be fixed in the tool.

Maybe I just change the svn link to the github svn repo url and things are fine. Best idea github ever had to support svn.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.
