The BootCD doesn't use 3rd party drivers, nor do I think it would support it.

As a rule, it's very unlikely for ROS to run into trouble with your graphics card, because it only uses VESA.

My guess about why VGA mode makes the LiveCD work is that the problem is likely a race condition, and VGA mode changes timing.

Like any setup CD starting with... Nt4 we use basic drivers for install CDs. There is no reason to add 3D supportive drivers to a setup CD. If you have a problem installing it, then we have a bug.

If you're able to edit the contents of the iso file, you can always do the modification to reactos/txtsetup.sif that I indicated in https://reactos.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... 60#p130293
That should give you screen debugging so you can see what's going on.

OK, but you did an iso containing that script, which I then tried : as mentioned previously, I got lots of code lines ending with "kdb: >" ; this is where I took pictures and filmed the process.
But I don't know what to do with that as it's for identifying the problems I guess ?
