Hi, everyone
I want to learn something about fat filesystem, e.g. fat32 and exfat
but I found two folder of fat (fastfat and fastfat_new) under the filesystems, what's the difference between them? and how to read the code if I want to learn the exfat? I wonder what the exfat will do when back to the previous directory.

Looks like you first need to learn C before doing anything else...

i don't believe you will learn anything about exfat from this driver as even microsoft use a totally different driver for exfat. To your question fastfat_new should be the microsoft open source driver and fastfat is the original reactos implementation. ReactOS currently does not support exfat.

I think you maybe confused about exfat as far as i know it actually has more in common with ntfs then fat. It's partition id is even the same as ntfs.
