How does user authentication work ?
Can ReactOS be used with openldap and does it support NFS ( like linux )

User authentication works the same way it does in Windows because this is a Windows architecture we talk about.
Right now this is still incomplete though. So no LDAP/AD support as far as I know.
If you can tinker with openldap to get some authentication support for external ldap supportive things... maybe... never tried. Feel free to try it and report back your results.
NFS is Linux stuff, but still you are lucky here as it's open source: https://reactos.org/wiki/Using_NFS

ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.
