If you want to post images, http://imageshack.us is a good image hosting service. It will store the image online, and provide an url you can link to.
It will also show you the forum code you need to then display it in a post.

well i hate imageschack.us too much ads...
http://photobucket.com/ is a lot better i think.

... You still haven't posted the image, and imageshack allows for direct links so you can avoid all the ads once you've posted it.
