Marco Aurelio, if the link you posted points to a copy of Microsoft's Windows Research Kernel then you must remove it.

I'd recommend the same. We all know of this one, but the code wont be of any help with current license. Even worse, if someone decides to use this code as base for kernel work it is illegal.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Windows Research Kernel is only helpful if you're curious how does the NT kernel (mostly earlier versions of NT) work or for personal use but don't think even by a bit it'll be useful for ReactOS development core. If it has been found ReactOS uses some of code from such hubs the team will expect nothing but loan of trouble.

I am almost certain that distributing the WRK code like that is illegal and mildly surprised someone hasn't reported them. The link is removed.

For the record,
https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en- ... rum=kernel
https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en- ... rum=kernel
Q: What is the WRK?
A: The Windows Research Kernel (WRK) packages core Microsoft Windows XP x64/Server 2003 SP1 kernel source code ...
Q: How do I get the WRK and build environment?
A: Please note, the WRK sources are only available to those who teach or research core OS subjects at accredited universities worldwide.
Q: Does this mean that you are "open sourcing" Windows?
A: No. The WRK is not related to any of the community open source projects at
Microsoft and is licensed specifically for use by universities for teaching and research.
