Failed mkisofs while compiling in linux

Post by Julcar » Tue Dec 10, 2019 9:52 pm

Platform: TinyCore Linux 10.1 x86_64 kernel 4.19.10
RosBE 2.2 Build from sources

after fixing some problems I got "configuring done"

doing a "ninja all" command leads to this log

Code: Select all

bash-4.4$ ninja all

Well, thanks to myself :D I found what was happening:

https://git.reactos.org/?p=reactos.git; ... b=HEAD#l55

Code: Select all

47 # Which tools to use
  48 set(CMAKE_C_COMPILER ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}gcc${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_SUFFIX})
  49 set(CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}g++${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_SUFFIX})
  50 set(CMAKE_ASM_COMPILER ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}gcc${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_SUFFIX})
  51 set(CMAKE_ASM_COMPILER_ID "GNU")
  52 set(CMAKE_MC_COMPILER ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}windmc)
  53 set(CMAKE_RC_COMPILER ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}windres)
  54 set(CMAKE_DLLTOOL ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}dlltool)
  55 #set(CMAKE_AR ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}gcc-ar${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_SUFFIX})
  56 set(CMAKE_OBJCOPY ${MINGW_TOOLCHAIN_PREFIX}objcopy)
since this commit https://git.reactos.org/?p=reactos.git; ... 61e9feec21 is commented that line, so cmake has to generate the ninja file pointing to the system's ar binary, which in my case, is a busybox symlink.

I don't know if this can be determined as a bug.
