/DEBUGPORT=FILE how?

I tried the boot option /DEBUGPORT=FILE
but can't find the log file! I checked everywhere .
so how is this supposed to work?

It's supposed to create a log file \ReactOS\debug.log

I'll check that and try again when I get home but I don't think I'd miss anything so obvious, and I searched the entire harddrive for *.log.

It never actually boots up all the way so I suppose its possible that it hadn't fully initialized the filesystem or something before crashing.
