Re: EPIC WIN!
Winsplit Revolution works! It allows to organize the desktop via "[snapping] windows into specific tiled configurations using simple keyboard hotkeys". It's hard to describe by pics, so a random video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1AtHyf4pRQ
Re: EPIC WIN!
Awesome program (never heared of it before this post, though!)
Re: EPIC WIN!
That's a lot of fancy words for what is essentially a Tiling window manager. But that's still really cool!

Re: EPIC WIN!
If it could be done on a phone, why not a tablet? I think that would be cool.
ReactOS on the OLPC?

Re: EPIC WIN!
I honestly don't see what's so "epic" about this one... It's running inside a VM. ReactOS can run inside a VM for quite some time already and since it's QEMU we are talking about it doesn't even matter which hardware it runs on...JHKr0md1yk wrote:PLZ PLZ pretty PLZ somebody put this on youtube now!!! Re: EPIC WIN!
I personally wouldn't necessarily describe anything as 'epic', that usage is to me just useless hyperbole that has been introduced by American teens into what is otherwise a language that is better used for general understatement - but that's enough of my dislikes.
Seeing ReactOS running on a device that in itself is considered 'sexy', imparts some of that desirability onto the software that is being highlighted. Tablets and the like are fashionable and therefore 'sexy' and associating ReactOS with a particularly attractive device should be reallyencouraged, QEMU or otherwise. Let's see more of these please, the 'sexiest' device you can find, let's get pictures like that on the front page (a picture speaks a thousand words).
Remember that freedom to install licence-free on any device is one thing that prevents MS Windows from being displayed easily in this way, you have to get a licence to do so and this would put most off. Seeing ReactOS on many devices shows that it can run anywhere and easily too, you just install it. Now, that is close to becoming 'epic' though I would prefer to say, "that is really rather good...",

Re: EPIC WIN!
Exactly.
I realize I wasn't clear about that, and running inside a hypervisor or emulator is pretty much the first platform newly upcoming OSses run on/in, but in terms of good PR generation, this is a potentially huge thing.

Re: EPIC WIN!
One day we should sell ReactOS - $60 per copy and it should come with an android device preloaded with QEMU and Reactos.
