Wow, I really didn't think printing was that complex. But I guess I should come to expect everything in NT is beautifully designed, if not a little verbose and complex
I like the separation of the port manager into it's own DLL. Does that have the potential to be reused at all?

This might be out of the scope of you're work, but have you looked at supporting the XPS print infrastructure as well?

Nope, not yet. I wanted to first focus on printing components generally used by everybody before going for MS proprietary niche formatsFrontier wrote:This might be out of the scope of you're work, but have you looked at supporting the XPS print infrastructure as well?

I've submitted my finished thesis to the university yesterday and will have the presentation in the upcoming week.gauron wrote:Whats the status of Collin's Printing-Project ?
Then I'm looking forward to make my written thesis available to ReactOS developers and merge the branch back to Trunk.
Bug reports will be created for the outstanding tasks regarding Printing to let several people work on them.
Cheers,
Colin
