Poll: New Tango Volume Icon

Post by Pi_User5 »

The current volume icon in the system tray IMO does not really fit with the rest of the icons. The current icon seems to have come from the Gnome icon set. Instead, I switched over to the Tango icon set. Which one would you all like to see used? I prefer Choice 2.

Choice 1 (Current - Icon from Gnome set):

Choice 2 (Icon from Tango set):

Does this icon only exist in 16x16 format?

No. There are 32 and 48 pixel formats as well.

At least, the first one looks like an actual speaker. The second one reminds of distorted "Dolby" icon.

It can be. There are already some Gnome icons in ROS but they fit in with ReactOS. But in this case, the speaker icon from Gnome has that glow on it and it sometimes is distracting. But maybe I can rework the Gnome icon. :)

I voted for 2 because of the small improvement in colors, but I agree that the current shape is better.

If I add one, the current results are cleared. ;)

If any of you are wanting to vote for the new icon, just say you vote for Choice 3. :D
