Try again! I have just logged into the wiki, but have not tried to edit anything.

Someone else had the same problem as you, but I cannot find the post.

Please keep the Windows classic 9x/2000 look and feel.
The layman's guides - debugging - bug reporting - compiling - ISO remaster.
They may help you with a problem, so do have a look at them.

It worked for me.

Moments ago, I made a minor edit to the ReactOS Wiki. When I published the change the ReCaptcha test appeared. The method I mentioned in the older topic, ReCaptcha Warning, worked. I treated the ReCaptcha as if it was one of the older style captcha tests. I typed in the letters in red exactly as I saw them then pressed Enter. After a delay, I was able to proceed. (Maybe my Internet connection is slow.) I verified that my changes to the wiki were published.

Try this: first save your work (if possible--otherwise copy your work to a text file). Then try logging out of ReactOS.org then log back in again. Go to the ReactOS.org home page (front page). Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Choose the link marked "LOG OUT". Log back in again. Go to the ReactOS Wiki. Log in to the Wiki if required. After that, try again to make your edit of the Wiki.

If a bug is suspected in the ReactOS Wiki, report this bug by creating an issue in JIRA, the ReactOS project's bug tracker. Enter JIRA from the ReactOS.org home page (front page). Chose the link marked "JIRA" that is at the top of the page. Log in to JIRA with your existing ReactOS Forum credentials.*

The ReactOS web site (including the forums and the ReactOS Wiki) is the project called ReactOS Online Service (ONLINE). The ReactOS operating system is the project called Core ReactOS (CORE). Be sure to choose the correct project when reporting a bug. Report one and only one bug per issue.

Also, before opening a new issue please check for an existing issue about the same problem. The number of open issues in ReactOS Online Service is small enough that scrolling through the list looking for a duplicate is easy. Or use JIRA's search feature. If an existing issue cannot be found after searching then create a new issue. Duplicate issues are sometimes unavoidable but the developers appreciate bug reporters who try to avoid reporting known bugs.

* After a new user registers with the ReactOS.org web site there may be a delay before the new credentials are copied to the JIRA server. If this delay is longer than 24 hours then there is a problem with the server.

If I understand your difficulty correctly, the answer you seek is in my post to the older topic, "Recaptcha Warning. I provided a link to that topic earlier.

This is what works for me: I treat the weird ReCaptcha like one of the older captchas that ask the user to identify the letters. I type the string of red letters into the input box. I type the letters exactly as I see them. Then I press Enter. This procedure has worked for me every time.

If getting past the broken ReCaptcha is not the problem you are having, then I don't understand your description of the problem.
