Is it possible to workaround this bluescreen crash bug:

I attempt to boot from live CD, but it is not possible.

Try using vgal's usb build? From what I can see it's related to USBOCHI.
My working rigs:
Dell Latitude E5430 on 0.4.9-vgal - i5-3340M, USB boot.
Partially working rigs:
Ryzen 7 3700X on B450 board - 0.4.14 boot via preinstall. USB broken.

Please keep the Windows classic 9x/2000 look and feel.

The last module in log was swenum.sys

Re: Reactos live is immediatelly crashing
A backtrace of the BSoD (bugcheck) you were encountering would help. To do so, you must firstly boot ReactOS as Screen (which enables total debug verbosity) and when it breaks into debugger prompt type "bt" (without quotes!). The debug trace is important for the developers (mainly for Vadim Galyant as you were using Vgal's build) to analyze the root cause of your problem.

Sorry I do not know how to do it. I cannot change files already written on CD. I can choose only Reactos live or debug.Fraizeraust wrote:A backtrace of the BSoD (bugcheck) you were encountering would help. To do so, you must firstly boot ReactOS as Screen
When I choose Reactos Live, I get this BSOD:

When I choose debug, the booting hangs without any notification:

Reactos Screen is exactly what is displayed in your first image from your first post, simply type bt there were it says kdb>.JaFojtik wrote:Sorry I do not know how to do it. (just type bt, it should automatically put it after kdb:> and then press enter, there is nothing complicated about this, it is plain and straight forward! )
Take pictures/ and/or a video of the process.

This mode is called "log" option in the boot menu.Blitzen_Dóiteán wrote:Reactos Screen is exactly what is displayed in your first image from your first post, simply type bt there were it says kdb>. For the vgal build it simply does not work. It crashes without any notification without any chance to do something.
I can provide backtrace only for regular build with unstable USB code.
The daily build also crashes without any chance to press anything.

No, keyboard is classical, but mouse is connected to USB. I do not have 2 classic connectors.Blitzen_Dóiteán wrote:Are you using a usb keyboard? Just Asking...
My motherboard is just this one: GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA ... -rev-20#ov

I have 4GiB of memory installed.
CPU is Phenom X6
Re: Reactos live is immediatelly crashing
The active USB port may be the problem. Try booting without the mouse or anything else connected to a USB port.
