Re: FAQ questions. Solution for 99% doubts/issues
1. Yes, USB still hangs on some real hardware.
2. If you run into the previous, then the mouse likely won't work either.
3. FAT32 is still default for now, even though it can now read other file systems.
4. Glad the sound driver works.
And yes, if you use PayPal to donate, they will convert the currency.

anakbaru, you have an interesting group of problems. I wish you had started a new topic in this Support forum with the matters you discussed. This FAQ topic is not the proper place for them. A person adds to a Frequently Answered Questions (FAQ) topic when a person has a new answer to add.anakbaru wrote:hello i installerd Reactos 4.0 cool but still a problem...

Re: FAQ questions. Solution for 99% doubts/issues
Will ReactOS eventually support older i586 processors like the Pentium MMX and AMD K6-2? The current kernel causes a reboot from the missing i686 assembly instruction CMOV.
Re: FAQ questions. Solution for 99% doubts/issues
A person adds to a Frequently Answered Questions (FAQ) topic when a person has a new answer to add.
A person who has a question about ReactOS should first search the ReactOS.org website. For Google and Bing, start the search string with "site:ReactOS.org" to restrict results to the ReactOS.org site.
A person who wishes to ask a question should (1) start a new topic in the Support forum (2) then post the question in that new topic.

Re: FAQ questions. Solution for 99% doubts/issues
Hi!Can I install ReactOS from a pendrive/stick?
There is no known way to install ReactOS from pendrive/stick. Any method relies in ReactOS installing itself, so it needs USB support to accomplish the task. ReactOS doesn't have USB support so:
- Use a CD-RW instead, or a normal CD
Is this answer still true, or have it changed?

USB install is now working to some degree, but it's far from reliable.

I think once the official builds reliably work via USB boot, then that can be updated.
