So long and thanks for nothing

Well, due to the rudeness I am disbanding my ROS users group and will focus on SkyOS.

Good bye.

Good luck, maybe you will bring SkyOS closer to ReactOS.

The ReactOS community is usually quite friendly. Don't worry about a few negative posts from other people.

Man, SkyOS is a propietary OS, you will works for "somebody", working on ReactOS you are working for everybody, because its OpenSource.
SkyOS is doing something like the opposite of ROS:

"propietary" - "OpenSource"
...Windows.........ReactOS
....SkyOS.............Linux

If he thinks he hits us by leaving, et him go. Who is he btw??
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...

Apparently, he's the guy who ruined the "Post your vector ReactX entries here." thread

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyos

I think the wikipedia says it all. Closed source Posix OS. When I have Minix FreeBSD Linux and Solarias as options for that with all the different forms. Then open source relegations to beos.

First question why its not like is a great option.

At least ROS can answer the why question. Ie there is no working open source clone to MS Windows.

Also something is wrong davefilms only has 5 posts total. I somehow think its advertisement for Skyos that is crap. Please make a ruling Z98 if this is trash or not.

Afair, "davefilms" has been a long time community member for years. He has started a one of the first (if not the first) local ReactOS user-group (located in the USA) with its own website, and so.

In general:
We should think positive, don't be rude/aggressive to each other.
Everyone should try hard to take part in the community in a positive and productive way. We don't need trolls or any other counterproductive activities.

It is available here too:
e.g. http://www.reactos.org/forum/search.php ... uthor=Apal

It's also available directly through the user interface:
1) Click on the profile button in the comment box
2) Click on the "Find all posts by <username>" link.
