GRUB and ReactOS
Does GRUB boots ReactOS? [GRUB legacy]
Re: GRUB and ReactOS
You can chainload freeldr . You only need freeldr.sys and a working freeldr.ini . Then put something like this in your menu.lst :
title=ReactOS
root (hd0,7)
kernel /freeldr.sys DefaultOS=ReactOS TimeOut=1
title=ReactOS
root (hd0,7)
kernel /freeldr.sys DefaultOS=ReactOS TimeOut=1

Err, yes?! But not if you copy it on HDD. We have a bootcd for that!
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Well the LiveCD doesn't even boot form CD....
Re: GRUB and ReactOS
This depends on hardware and the ReactOS Live-CD revision You use.naums wrote:Well the LiveCD doesn't even boot form CD....
If You only want to taste: use ReactOS "Preloaded with QEMU".
If You want to test on real hardware: first use a separate PC and don't endager Your working LINUX or WINDOWS installation.
There are several "traps" that might chrash Your "everyday-working-PC".
ReactOS is ALPHA and does not work on every hardware constellation.
