I have shortened this link: https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/syslinux-4.05.tar.gz to the containing directory, like so: https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/ because there are newer versions available and the reader can choose which one they would like to down-load. oldman.

Any newer version than versyslinux-4.05 does not work!!! jeditobe.
